So, my Marketing prof. sends out and Email containing the following:
Did you know that the water pressure throughout the US plunges during the half time show? This is true! Advertising falls under which of the 4 P's?
So, I Emailed her back, that it apparently falls under P for Plumbing.
Very corny, yes. She thought it was cute.
Perhaps, though, it falls under P for Pressure... as in water pressure... or maybe Plunges. Maybe... P is for what people do instead of watching the advertisements.
Hey, when is the superbowl and who's playing? I'm in such a bubble.
It's Sunday and it's the Saints vs. Colts!
ReplyDelete(I only know because it's a big deal that the Saints made it for the first time. That and I'm constantly bombarded by people in black and gold saying"Who Dat")
Yippee! I got me an Uberbowl party! While the water pressure plunges, I will be taking notes on ads so, I can write an extra credit paper... which just might become blog fodder.
ReplyDeleteI looked at this link, I don't understand what this is supposed to prove. Although, honestly, I do think it's probably an urband legend. I've been hearing that since I was a little girl. I don't know how it could be true every year. Also, not EVERYONE watches the Superbowl.
ReplyDeleteIt's an urban legend that one year sewer lines exploded because so many people flushed at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI have a suggestion. When the "Focus on the Family" ad comes on, let's all flush at once. Let's see if we can do it this time!
